2019 Beaver Creek Petite Sirah, Horne Ranch, Lake County, California (750ml)

Contains only naturally occuring sulfites. Situated just below the shadow of Mount Saint Helena on the Lake County side of Highway 29, Beaver Creek's Horne Ranch has a unique mix of rich, volcanic soil and mountain valley loam.

The ranch is situated at 1000 feet and is CCOF Organic Certified and Demeter Biodynamic certified. No chemicals were used in the winemaking process. Aged 11 months in 15% new French Oak barrels this wine starts out grippy, with black fruit and mouthcoating tannin. If decanting, the tannins start to mellow and lend to velvety texture that drinks twice the quality for the price. No sulfites were added to this wine, thus the label designation "Contains Only Naturally Occuring Sulfites." This simply means that the only sulfites present in the finished wiine are those produced by the fermentation itself.
