Located just south of Dijon, Francois Milkulski is known for his Premier Cru Meursault and Volley Burgundy wines. Inheriting his first plots of Meursault from his late uncle, Pierre Boillot, who inherited control of Lucien Boillot in 2002 - These are top sites from even as far back as the 19th century. Mikulski's wines pursue authenticity, purity and elegance through acute attention to biological balance in the vineyards. All are practicing organic. This Cremant de Bourgogne is 50% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and15% Aligote from vines in Meursault and Rully. Hand harvested and fermented. Aged in tank for 18 months on the lees. Tasting Notes: Creamy with brioche and white peach and bruised apple notes. Round on the palate and crowd-pleasing.
