About the Icons
This is a delightful and delicious sparkling rose that is all about bright red cherry and strawberry with a pretty, subtle floral quality of dried violets. This vintage s a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Mourvèdre, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon, Petit Manseng and Muscat  that is made "from bleeding the vats of the Domaine's red wine, fermenting it until almost dry and bottling it to capture the natural spritz from the fermentation."

It comes from the incomparable Mas de Daumas Gassac, the "Grand Cru of the Midi" and used to be only made for the family's consumption on their beautiful estate. That was until importer, Michael Sullivan, of Beaune Imports, asked them to make more so he could sell it in California. And, we are very happy he did as it is one of our most popular rose sparklers and is always a crowd pleaser and a welcome addition to any festive party!
